Description: Pitts Wilson carried out the Electrical installations to 8No Switch Centers for mobile phone provider BT Cellnet/O2
The Center’s requirements was for virtually fail safe continuity of supply to the mobile networks and the installations comprised dual HV supplies, dual 1000KVa standby generators, and dual static inverter units.
The distribution network and cabling to the centers was carefully planned to minimize the risk of supply loss, with all essential services having dual supplies with differing cable routes.
A complex multi layer containment system was installed under the raised floor to allow for installation of services and sensitive data cabling.
